  • Description: 本研究旨在瞭解澎湖縣國民小學教師實施品德教育現況、困境及因應策略之情形,並探討不同背景變項的教師對實施品德教育認知之差異。本研究採用問卷調查法,輔以訪談。研究對象,以100學年度澎湖縣41所國民小學565位教師作為研究樣本,調查結果以次數分配與百分比、平均數、標準差、獨立樣本t考驗、單因子變異數分析等統計分析法,進行資料處理分析,獲致以下結論:1.澎湖縣國民小學教師對於品德教育個人認知情形良好。2.不同背景變項的教師個人認知看法,在個別層面中,性別、年齡、服務年資、擔任職務與相關進修議題變項有差異;而整體層面中沒有差異。3.澎湖縣國民小學教師對於品德教育實際運作情形,持正向支持與肯定的看法。4.不同背景變項的教師對學校實際運作看法,在個別層面中,性別、年齡、服務年資、擔任職務與學校地區變項有差異;而整體層面中,性別、年齡、服務年資與擔任職務變項亦有差異。5.教師認為實施品德教育過程中所遭遇的困境,依序為教學時間不易安排、社區家長對於品德教育的內涵沒有清楚的認識、教育主管機關未建立品德教育具體內容和指標、教師對品德教育的素養不足。6.教師認為學校推動品德教育之因應策略,依序為適當給與行政獎勵、營造品德教學環境、研發品德教育教材、寬列相關經費;實施品德教育的核心價值依序為尊重生命、誠實信用、負責盡責。最後依據結論對教育行政機關與學校行政人員以及未來研究方向提出相關建議。
    Abstract This study aimed to explore the current status, application difficulties, and possible coping strategies of Penghu’s elementary school character education with certain background variables taken into account. A questionnaire was used to survey 565 teachers from all the 41 elementary schools in Penghu during the 2011~2012 school year, and the raw data gathered were processed by using frequency distribution, percentage, average, standard deviation, independent samples t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The findings are as follows:1. The typical teacher had a positive identification with their own character education.2. Individual teachers varying in sex, age, seniority, position, and history of concerned training showed different attitudes toward character education, but no difference was revealed on the general level.3. Penghu’s elementary school teachers showed support for the current application of character education.4. Individual teachers with varying background variables such as sex, age, seniority, position, and school district showed different attitudes toward the current character education application status, while on the general level significant differences appeared among variables including sex, age, seniority, and position.5. Most serious difficulties encountered during character education practice were scheduling, parents’ lack of understanding and appreciation, local education authority’s failure to set up concrete contents and criteria, as well as teachers’ incapacity.6. Possible coping strategies brought up included offering proper administrative incentives, building up character-education-friendly school environment, developing official teaching materials, and granting bigger budgets. Core values picked out were respect for life, honesty, and responsibility. Finally, some suggestions have been offered accordingly to educational administration organizations, schools, and school teachers respectively in terms of teaching and future research direction.
