描述: 　2006年，一篇<「周杰倫」現象研究>的論文甫發表，隨即引發一連串相關議題的研究風潮，然而重要性不亞於周杰倫的背後功臣－方文山，卻少有人關注。因此，本論文以方文山其人及其歌詞創作，作為研究對象與研究文本。研究方法採用「文本分析」與「文獻分析」，藉以歸納、整理方文山創作之歌詞與當代流行音樂之關係，並透過「流行文化社會學」的理論，對方文山歌詞與當代社會文化作一深入探析。　　本篇論文之研究架構，共分六章：第一章　緒論第二章　台灣流行音樂發展與變遷第三章　方文山歌詞元素及評價第四章　方文山歌詞特出之處第五章　方文山歌詞與當代文化之關係第六章　結論
　In 2006, a master thesis“The Research on the Phenomenon of Jay Chou”was published and triggered a wave of researches related to the topic.Although the man behind Jay Chou, that is Vincent Fang, was no less important, only a few people paid attention to him.Therefore the object of research in this thesis is Vincent Fang: his persona and his creative work- lyrics. The thesis is based on research methods of “textual analysis” and “document analysis” that rely on summing up and sorting out Vincent Fang''s creative works. The research approaches the relationship between lyrics and contemporary popular music throughthe theory of “sociology of popular culture”, which helps the thesis to deeply explore the relationship between Vincent Fang''s lyrics and contemporary social culture.　　The thesis is structured in six chapters:Chapter 1: IntroductionChapter 2: The development and changes in Taiwanese popular musicChapter 3: Elements and evaluations of Vincent Fang''s lyricsChapter 4:The outstanding characteristics of Vincent Fang''s lyricsChapter 5: The relationship between Vincent Fang''s lyrics and contemporary cultureChapter 6: Conclusion
