國中小學生職業性別刻板印象與職業興趣之研究

  • 描述: 本研究的主要目的是:(刁分析不同性別、年級、家庭社經地位對國中小學生職業性別刻板印象、職業興趣及六種職業類型影響之差異;(二)探討國中小學生職業性別刻板印象與職業興趣之相關情形;(三)探討性別、年級、雞 社經地位對國中小學生職業性 另叮刻板印象、職業興趣及六種職業類型的預測情形;(四)根據研究結果,歸納相關的影窖與提出對生涯教育的建議,以作為學校教師及輔專人員應用之依據。 本研究採調查研究法,以叢集抽樣的方式,抽取高雄市、台南市、台南縣及澎湖縣759名國中二年級和國小五年級的學生為研究對象,研究工具為「家庭社經地位問卷」、「職業性別刻板印象量表」和「職業興趣量表」。統計方法採用t考驗、三因子變異數分析、Pearson積差相關、逐步多元迴歸等統計方法,所得結論如下:一、不同性別、年級、家庭社經地位在國中小學生職業性別刻板印象、職業興趣及六種職業類型上之差異情形(一)性別在職業性別刻板印象與職業興趣上有顯著差異,且男生高於女生。(二)年級在職業性別刻板印象上有顯著差異,且隨著年級的增加,學生的職業性別刻板印象有逐漸降低的趨勢。(三)年級在職業興趣上有顯著差異,且國小五年級學生對於職業類型數量的選擇高於國中二年級學生。(四)不同的家屆帝路巠地位,在職業性別刻板印象與職業興趣上並無顯著差異。(五)國中小學生對於六種職業類型數量的選擇上,最高的是藝術型和研究型,其次是企業型、社會型、實際型,最低的是傳統型。(六)性別在實際型、研究型、藝術型及社會型職業興趣上有顯著差異,且男生高於女生。但在企業型及傳統型職業興趣上,並無顯著差異存在。(七)年級在研究型職業興趣上有顯著差異,且國小五年級學生高於國中二年級學生,但在其他五種類型職業興趣上,無顯著差異存在。(八)家庭社經地位在藝術型職業興趣上有顯著差異,且中、高社經地位的學生高於低社經地位的學生,但在其他五種類型職業興趣上,並無顯著差異存在。二、國中小學生職業性別刻板印象與職業興趣呈現負相關三、性別、年級、家庭社經地位在國中小學生職業性別刻板印象、職業興趣及六種職業類型之預測情形(一)性別、年級能有效預測國中小學生的職業性另核目板印象,家庭社經地位則未能有效預測國中小學生的職業性別刻板印象。(二)性別可有效預測國中小學生的職業興趣,年級和家庭帝�麜呇a位則未能有效預測國中小學生的職業興趣。(三)性別可有效地預測國中小學生的實際型、研究型、藝術型、社會型和企業型職業興趣。(四)年級可有效地預測國中小學生的研究型職業興趣。(五)家庭社經地位可有效地預測國中小學生的藝術型和社會型職業興趣。(六)性別、年級、家庭社經地位無法有效預測國中小學生的傳統型職業興趣。研究者依據上述結果,提出數項建議,供生涯輔導教育及未來研究作為參考
    The main purposes of this study were as follows:1. Analyzing the differences of vocational gender stereotype, vocational interestand its occupational types influenced by different gender, grade and socioeconomic status.2. Exploring the relation between vocational gender stereotype and vocational interest.3. Exploring the predictions of vocational gender stereotype, vocational interestand its occupational types influenced by gender, grade and socioeconomic status.4. According to the study results, related influence were concluded and suggestions were presented for teachers and counselors to apply.The questionnaire survey were adopted. By means of the cluster sampling,759 students were chosen from the second graders in middle schools and the fifth graders in primary schools in Kaohsiung city, Tainan city, Tainan county and Penghu county as the objects of the study. The instruments used in this study were "Socioeconomic Status Questionnaire", "Vocational Gender Stereotype Inventory" and "Vocational Interest Inventory". The statistic analysis handled by t-test, three-way ANOVA, Pearson''s product-moment correlation and stepwise multiple regression.The results of the study were as follows:1. The differences of vocational gender stereotype, vocational interest and isoccupation6 types influenced by different gender, grade and socioeconomic status(1) There were significant differences of gender on vocational gender stereotype and vocation8 interest. Boys got higher scores than girls.(2) There were significant differences of grade on vocational gender stereotype. Students had a tendency to lower vocational gender stereotype with an increase of grade.(3) There were significant differences of grade on vocational interest. And the fifth graders in primary schools got higher scores than the second graders in middle schools on the choice of occupational types.(4) There were no Sgnificant differences of socioeconomic status on vocational gender stereotype and vocational interest.(5) The maximum of occupational types chosen by primary and middle schools students were "Artistic" and "Investigative", and then were "Enterprising", "Social" and "Realistic", the minimum was "Conventional".(6) There were significant differences of gender on "Realistic", "Investigative", "Artistic" and "Social". And boys got higher scores than girls. However, there were no significant differences of gender on "Enterprising" and "Conventional".(7) There were significant differences of grade on "Investigative". And the fifthgraders in primary schools got higher scores than the second graders in middleschools. However, there were no significant differences of grade on the other five occupational types.(8) There were significant differences of socioeconomic status on "Artistic". And students with high and middle socioeconomic status got higher scores than those with low socioeconomic status. However, there were no s@nificant differences of socioeconomic status on the other five occupationl types.2. The variables of vocational gender stereotype and vocational interest were negative correlated.3. The predictions of gender, grade and socioeconomic status on "vocational gender stereotype", "vocational interest" and "occupational types" of primary and middle schools students(1) Gender and grade contributed significantly to the prediction of vocational gender stereotype, but socioeconomic status didn''t.(2) Gender contributed significantly to the prediction of vocational interest, but grade and socioeconomic status didn''t.(3) Gender contributed significantly to the prediction of "Realistic", "Investigative", "Artistic", "Social" and "Enterprising".(4) Grade contributed significantly to the prediction of "Investigative".(5) Socioeconomic status contributed significantly to the prediction of "Artistic" and "Social".(6) Gender, grade and socioeconomic status didn''t contributed significantly to the prediction of "Conventional".According to the above results of my study, I have made suggestions for career guidance and future research.
