外籍配偶母職經驗之分析研究

  • 描述: 本研究旨在探討外籍配偶之母職經驗,欲了解外籍配偶對自身的角色期待及適應的歷程。本質性研究採用內容分析方法,以三位來自越南的外籍配偶為研究對象,透過半結構式深度訪談進行資料蒐集,研究結果分析歸納如下:一、外出工作對母職有正面幫助。職場上的成功經驗能帶來收入,也提升外籍配偶在家中的地位,如此一來,外籍配偶即有更多信心執行母職。二、在越南代母職的經驗養成獨立負責個性,有助於外籍配偶來台經營家庭,且在面對異國婚姻生活時較容易調適心態,有助於發揮母職功能。三、外籍配偶們的自我的核心是為子女而存在,母職表現皆是為了成就下一代。孩子被肯定似乎就和外籍配偶母職能力被認同畫上了等號。四、人際支持有助於母職角色的適應,尤其先生的教養態度能一致時,會減少外籍配偶執行母職時的困難。本研究的受訪者皆在外有工作,所接觸的生活面向廣,可能呈現較佳的適應歷程,導致研究欠缺未具有工作機會的外籍配偶之觀點。根據研究結果,本研究建議學校教師未來與外籍配偶進行親師溝通時,多回饋其子女在校正向的表現,有助於強化外籍配偶的母職功能,此外,在外籍配偶正向的適應歷程中,社福單位可予更多肯定,建立面對外籍配偶時合理的態度。
    The purpose of this study is to understand the self-role expectation and the adaptation process of foreign spouses by exploring their motherhood experience. This study qualitative research adopts the phenomenological content analysis method and all information is collected from semi-structured in-depth interviews with three foreign spouses from Vietnam. The research findings are analyzed and concluded as following:1. An occupation has positive effort to motherhood. Successful working experience not only brings income, but also promotes the status of foreign spouses in the family. For this reason, foreign spouses will have better confidence to carry out motherhood.2. Independent and responsible characters resulted from their acting mother experience in Vietnam helps foreign spouses’ family management in Taiwan. Moreover, it helps adjust their attitude toward marriage life in the foreign country and bring motherhood into full play.3. The self value of foreign spouses is determined by children’s accomplishments. Motherhood performance is all for their children. It seems that the affirmative achievements of children equal to an approval of foreign spouses’ motherhood capability.4. Interpersonal supports contribute to the adaptation of mother’s role, especially when the husband has coordinate attitude toward education. It helps reduce foreign spouses’ difficulties when enforcing motherhood.All interviewees in this research have an occupation and wider life experience, which consequently leads to better adaptation process but the lack of viewpoint from unemployed foreign spouses.According to the research findings, we suggest that teachers provide more affirmative achievements of their children in school when communicating with foreign spouses. It helps strengthen their motherhood. Additionally, during the positive adaptation process of foreign spouses, social welfare institutions can offer more affirmation to help establish reasonable attitude when facing foreign spouses.
