  • 描述: 本研究的主要目的,在改善研究對象於班級中所衍生的種種問題,研究者利用大量的圖畫書,發展一套適合學前階段幼兒生命教育的課程,並以行動研究的循環精神,即發現問題、實施策略、省思修正、再實施、再修正的歷程進行幼兒生命教育研究,企圖透過圖畫書生命教育課程的行動研究,使幼兒在生命教育的「己我」、「人我」、「人與自然環境」三面向上達到改變。研究者施行生命教育於賀賀國小附幼中的十二位幼兒,為期約一年半的時間,研究歷程可分為準備、試驗和教學研究三階段。研究過程中蒐集幼兒的觀察記錄、上課團體討論的錄音、師生及家長間的文件檔案等三大類的資料,以質性分析的方式處理資料,並詮釋研究歷程與結果。研究結果顯示:一、研究者以圖畫書為本設計的幼兒生命教育課程適合學前階段幼兒的學習。二、實施生命教育課程之後,幼兒有所成長與改變。在己我方面,幼兒從說謊逃避轉變為誠實負責的行為態度;人我方面,幼兒從自我中心、衝突的人際關係轉變為樂於分享與助人,並能主動關懷他人;在人與自然環境面向上,幼兒從戲謔生物的行為轉變為能尊重生命的態度,並建立幼兒環境保護的觀念。三、圖畫書教學的成果豐碩,不但養成幼兒閱讀的習慣與風氣、提昇幼兒對圖畫書的敏感度、說故事及創作故事的能力、幼兒也會將圖畫書融入生活中。四、進行本研究亦提昇教師的專業成長,一是課程設計與教學方式的突破;二是幼教理念與態度的轉變;三是體認反省對教學的重要。最後研究者根據研究歷程中的阻礙與發現,歸納結論與討論,並提出三點建議。研究者認為推行生命教育必須長期實施,具延續性,並有家庭教育的配合,生命教育才能徹底成功,以提供未來有興趣實施幼兒生命教育人士之參考。
    The main purpose of this study is to solve some of the children’s behavioral problems the researcher, as a teacher, encountered in her classroom which related to children’s attitude to life. Through utilizing a great amount of picture books, the researcher intended to develop a curriculum and learning activities which could enhance children’s concept of as well as attitude toward life and also were appropriate for young children. This study adopted an action research approach through which the researcher discovered problems, implemented action strategies, reflected on and adjusted her teaching practice. Through the cycle of acting, justification, and re-acting, the researcher hoped to improve children’s concepts and attitude in the three domains in life education—“concept and attitude toward oneself,” “relationships of self and others,” and “attitude toward the relationships of human beings and nature.”This studied curriculum of life education was implemented in a kindergarten classroom of a public school in a period of 18 months. The 12 children in this classroom were the subjects. The development of the curriculum and of the study included three stages-- preparation, pilot study, and implementation of the curriculum. The data collected in this study included notes of observation on children, tape recording of group discussions, and documents produced by teachers and parents. The data was analyzed using qualitative appropriate and procedures. The research findings were as follows.(1)The picture-book based curriculum of life education that the researcher developed was approach for kindergarten children. (2)After implementing the curriculum, the children showed positive change in the three domains in life education. Regarding the concept toward oneself, the children became honest and responsible.In the attitude to others, the children became more generous, merciful, and caring for others. In the attitude to nature, the children learned to respect all kinds of life and had a better understanding of environmental protection.(3)The results also showed that the use of picture books helped children to develop a love of book and habit of reading, to become more sensitive to picture books, to have greater ability on story telling and story-book writing, and to bring their experiences with picture books to their daily lives.(4)This study also extended teachers’ professional growth in these areas:(a) ability of curriculum and instruction design, (b) belief and attitude toward early childhood education, and (c) understanding of the importance of reflection to professional teaching.From the findings of this study, the researcher made conclusions and provided three suggestions. It was suggested that, the curriculum needed to be implemented over a long period of time and in co-operation with family education if school wanted life education to be successful. This study also provided useful reference for those who were interested in developing children’s life education.
