  • Description: 馬華旅台第三代作家鍾怡雯(1969-)步著文學獎的青雲崛起於二十世紀末的台灣文壇,並進入台灣的學院殿堂,成為學院派作家,多年來創作與研究並行,在散文領域的經營與成就大有可觀。鍾氏的散文作品兼有馬華文學的「移民性」與「遺民性」特質,能展現獨特的台馬雙重視野;其散文的敘事藝術亦獨樹一幟,是當代文壇中極具特色的一顆「慧」星。 本論文以鍾怡雯自1995年迄今(2014年)已出版的七部散文集為主要研究範圍,佐以鍾氏的評論、序言與部分未結集文本。筆者以文本分析法歸納鍾氏散文文本中呈顯出的台馬經驗與雙重視野的脈絡,探討在時空因素的作用下,鍾氏筆下的家園圖景有何變貌,而其邊緣的女性觀點,又如何挑戰大敘述,恢復女性曾長期缺席的書寫。此外,邊緣「去中心」、「去經典化」的精神,使得女散文家在散文形式上較男性作家更勇於實驗,往往帶有越界的企圖,鍾氏散文從早期的詩化、虛構策略至晚近重視情感的深度之表述,顯然仍在不斷實驗創新,筆者運用文本分析法與比較研究法以摹繪鍾氏流轉的散文觀。然而,實驗的成功與否仍須通過散文美學標準的檢驗,故筆者援引意識流、魔幻寫實與西方修辭學、敘事學等文學理論分析鍾氏散文的藝術效果,以檢證其散文的敘事美學。最後,綜合考評梳理鍾氏在散文創作與研究等面向的成就,為鍾氏在台灣、馬華、華文或中文文學史中的位置定位。
    Rising to prominence in the literature field of Taiwan during the late 20th century, the literary award winner, Choong Yee Voon (1969-), a third-generation Chinese descendent Malaysian settler, has become a member of academism writers in Taiwan. For years, Choong has devoted herself to studying and creating in prose, where she achieves great achievement and gains a significant position. Her prose combines both “adherence” and “immigrated” characters from Malaysian Chinese Literature, which therefore presents a unique double-layered Taiwan-Malaysia eyesight. With her unconventional style on narrative writings in prose, Choong is regarded as an exceptional “comet” in the contemporary field of literature. This study focuses on mainly Choong’s seven published collections of prose from 1995 to 2014, and some selected reviews and unpublished works are also included in the scope of this research. By analyzing and classifying the related descriptions regarding Choong’s Taiwan-Malaysia experience and her double-layered content expression, this study explores how the homeland in the pen of Choong’s, under the shift of time and space, has changed. Besides, it is also examined how Choong, from a female prospective, tries to challenge the masternarrative so as to regain a spot in narrative writing. It is likely that the female prose writers with the notion of de-centration and de-classic are braver than their male counterparts in experimenting on writing, and thus, female prose writers attempts to be cross-borders. From the early poetic and fictionalization to her late emotion-based narratives, Choong keeps on experimenting and inventing. Comparing and contrasting her writings, this study depict the development of Choong’s writing mindset. To objectively value Choong’s prose in literature and aesthetics, the research method used in this study consists of a set of theoretic framework – stream of consciousness, magic realism, western rhetoric and narratology. Finally, based on the synthesis of the whole research process and findings on her accomplishment on the study and creation in prose, this study also tries to define Choong’s place in the history of literature field in Taiwan, Malaysian Chinese, and Chinese.
