描述: 90年代台灣創造出矚目的經濟奇蹟，然生活品質與環境景觀並未隨著發展而獲得改善。反而在經濟下的工業化與量產，凸顯城鄉單一性與複製化問題，並造成髒、亂、醜、臭的地區形象。台灣城鄉景觀風貌改造運動發展十餘年，針對各地公園綠地、自然生態、公共生活空間與地方文化特色空間，維護城鄉生態平衡是朝永續發展的重要指標。使用視覺隱喻抽取技術，邀請八位志工透過自蒐圖片與說故事，依據具體景觀引發志工內心對居住環境的渴望，共抽取到164個構念，經過1/3構念收斂原則，萃取出65個全體價值觀。透過重要構念程度分數，計算出成熟、健康、勇氣、快樂、自由、自信心是志工對城鄉生態的終極想法。從全體受訪價值中發現，城鄉生態應具有發展成熟的思維、維護城市的面貌、關心個人身心的開朗、延續視野上的寬廣、給人與生物生活有自由空間感。與現況對照擁有濕地、公園綠地、矮化圍牆與自行車道，符合綠色永續元素與個人的對環境的需求。
Since 1990, the economic grow in Taiwan has been outstanding, but the living quality and surrounding scenery has not been much developed. On the contrary, the industrialization and mass manufacturing that drive the economic grow also bring about the monotone and reduplication in urban and rural areas, causing regions stereotyped by dirtiness, disorderliness, ugliness, and stink. Employing Zaltman Metaphor Elicitation Technique (ZMET) to investigate eight volunteers’ ideal living environment, this study extracts 164 constructs from the pictures they collected and from the story they told. 65 general values are then extracted according to the role. The assessment of constructs presents the interviewees’ expectations to their living environment: maturity, health, courage, happiness, freedom, and confidence. From the values collected from the interview, the study finds that mature thinking is necessary when balancing urban and rural development. Urban designing should not only concern the layout of cities but also take account of residents’ delight by broadening the available scenery and distributing adequate spaces to both human and other species. Officials are recommended to establish greenery, design bike routes, and diminish walls to meet residents’ need as well as to create a sustainable environment.
