描述: 臺灣的目前的體育運動多元化，很多的運動項目多能在國際體壇受到重視。從2002年世界盃比賽結果來看，亞洲的國家只要努力，一樣可以踢出好成績。臺灣的足球運動發展如何？高雄市足球運動以前的發展情形怎樣？足球曾經在高雄市興盛過，什麼原因造成高雄市足球風氣的盛行與沒落？當年高雄市足球運動如何在學校、社會推展，引起筆者研究的興趣。本研究目的在研究探討1949~2010年間高雄市足球運動的發展，採歷史研究法及訪問法，針對高雄市在學校體育及社會體育方面的發展情形，作深入探討與分析。其研究結果發現：一、高雄市足球運動起源於民國38年的海軍足球隊，後因退役足球員深入學校推廣，讓踢足球的風氣也逐漸盛行。加上社會經濟逐漸改善，政治走向開放，社會觀念的改變，配合教育單位的政策推行，早期學校足球、社會足球有不錯的成果。二、高雄市足球運動發展在學校體育方面及社會方面互受影響，學校體育與社區體育互相結合，這是一個最好的模範，在高雄市來講這樣的模式，高雄北有勁風足球倶樂部與後勁國小、國中，高雄南有大林蒲足球俱樂部與鳳林國小、國中，可做為推展足球運動的一個參考。三、高雄市社會足球的發展源自於海軍足球隊，之後更深入了基層培育足球選手，帶動了社會足球的發展，也帶動起高雄市足球運動的風氣，更是培育後繼人才的搖籃，意義重大。
Currently, the types of sports in Taiwan are diversity and get more attention in the world. But the government pays more attention on baseball or basketball rather than soccer. The soccer has been popular in Kaohsiung City. What is the reason that soccer becomes popular and downfallen? This leads to the main concern such as how soccer in Kaohsiung City was promoted by schools and society. The purpose of this research is to investigate the soccer development in Kaohsiung City from 1949-2010. According to the developing progress in school and society physical education in Kaohsiung City, the investigation can be analyzed from two aspects: literature reviews and interview. The results are shown below:1. The soccer sport in Kaohsiung City originated from the NAVY soccer team in 1949.Some soccer player retired from NAVY, then they devoted themselves into school for promote soccer. It makes soccer more and more popular. Moreover, the economical improvement, opened-politics, the change of social concepts and the impetus from educational policy also play an important role in soccer development. At the beginning, the soccer teams had gained excellent performance in schools and society.2. The development of soccer in Kaohsiung City affected by schools and society from Dalinpu to Hamashing. Because devotion of soccer, many people organized the club to promote soccer. In schools, teacher assembled soccer team to promote soccer. It’s the best model.3. The soccer sport in Kaohsiung City originated from the NAVY soccer team, then there are so many soccer club and soccer team to boosting popularity of soccer and cultivating soccer player’s talent.
