國小高年級學生家長對基因改造生物的認知及應用於教學之態度研究

  • 描述: 本研究旨在探討國小高年級學生家長對基因改造生物的認知情形,及其應用在國小教學上的態度。依文獻資料,據以自編調查問卷,蒐集學童家長對基因改造生物的認知及教學上的意見與看法,對象為雲林縣九十三學年度國小高年級學生家長,共計764份問卷調查,將所得資料以描述性統計分析、列聯表交叉分析及卡方考驗等方式呈現。依本研究結論顯示:大多數家長是從電視獲得基因改造食品的訊息,其次是報紙,第三為雜誌。家長較常看到基因改造食品銷售的場所,依序為便利商店、傳統市場;看見的基改食品大多數是豆漿、玉米粒罐頭、豆腐。對於食品標示的管理單位,約有82%家長不知道;在標示制度、成份容許量的認知上,也有八成以上家長仍然不知道。家長覺得認識GMO最方便的途徑,依序為電視、網路、報紙。有59%的家長贊同基因科技生產的改造產品,但多數不願意購買基因改造的食品甚至吃基改食品。他們願意接受更多有關基因改造生物的訊息,也願意教導自己的子女辨識基因改造食品。家長大部份贊成在國小高年級實施基因改造生物教學的課程且應由教育主管單位或學校來負責推廣基因改造生物的知識,其教學課程應該放在自然與生活科技領域,由自然科教師在彈性時間或資訊時間實施教學。家長最希望GMO的教材由政府統一編製,教師以實作練習、討論的方式進行教學;以討論發表、闖關活動或科學遊戲,來評量學生的學習成果,不要一味的紙筆測驗,給學生增添壓力。家長同意教師教導自然科學的時事議題,亦贊同政府設立生物技術教學小組,負責推動國中、小生物技術的教學工作;若教學中,需要學生準備器具時,大多數家長也願意配合;自由業的家長及家庭主婦樂意和教師共同設計GMO的課程並參與GMO的教學活動。
    This research is for the purpose of discussing the cognition of genetically modified organisms and attitude of applies to teaching about student''s parents of grade 5-6 in elementary school. According to literatures, I make a questionnaire to collection these cognitions, opinions and views. The object is the student''s parents their son or daughter is learning on Grade 5-6 in elementary school of 93 school year at Yunlin County. There are 764 questionnaires surveyed. The data analysis is by descriptive statistics, cross tabulation and chi-square test.Conclusion of this research is as follows: The most parents first gain information of genetically modified food is from the television, second is the newspaper and third is the magazine. The place much frequented to see for sale GMF is convenient store and traditional market. The most GMF to see is the soybean milk, canned corn and bean curd. About 82% parents who don''t know the GMF label of administrative unit is Department of Health, Executive Yuan. Cognition in label system and ingredient limit of GMF also about 80% parents know nothing. The most convenient way for parents to know the GMO is by television, network and newspaper. About 59% parents approve of GMO of gene technology production, but almost of them are not willing to purchase the GMF even to eat it. They are willing to accept the more news about GMO, and to teach theire children how to know GMF.Many parents approve of teaching GMO curriculum to students on grade 5-6 in elementary school, and spread the knowledge through competent department of education. Its curriculum should put on the Science and Technology Areas. Then natural teacher teach students on alternative learning periods or information technology education.Parents most hope the teaching material of GMO unified establishment by the government. The teachers can give guidance to students by performance-based practice and discussion in the class. Assessing student''s learning achievement by express an opinion, play the qualifying activity and scientific games. Don''t test only paper-based, it will increase the pressure to the students. The parents agree teacher to teach the current topic about natural sciences. Parents also approve to set up the biological technology teaching group by the government, he must be in charge of the technology teaching work. If students need to prepare the appliance in teaching, parents will take concerted action, the parents or the housewife is glad to design curriculum of GMO with the teacher and participates in the teaching activity.
