臺南市國小六年級學童閱讀行為、家庭閱讀環境與閱讀態度之研究

  • 描述: 本研究主要旨在探討臺南市國小六年級學童閱讀行為、家庭閱讀環境、與閱讀態度之狀況,並就性別、學校位置、家庭狀況、父母親教育程度等四個背景變項的差異性進行探討,以瞭解不同背景變項的臺南市國小六年級學童在家庭閱讀環境和家庭閱讀態度的差異情形。在探討過相關文獻及編製問卷後,本研究以位臺南市20所國小六年級學生進行問卷調查得有效問卷調查505 份,再以SPSS 套裝軟體,以百分比次數分配、t 考驗、單因子變異數分析等統計方法進行分析。本研究的結論如下: 1. 學童課外讀物來源由父母購買在家閱讀,並喜歡去圖書館和閱讀圖畫書。2. 學童家庭閱讀環境現況屬中上程度,各層面的分量表均優。3. 閱讀態度的平均分數偏低,父母的閱讀習慣尚佳並對學童有相當的教育期望。4. 國小學童其家庭閱讀環境的差異情形,女生顯著高於男生。5. 國小學童其家庭閱讀環境,市區皆高於郊區。6. 國小學童其家庭閱讀環境與父母同住顯著於只與父親或母親同住者。7. 國小學童其家庭閱讀環境,父母親教育程度為研究所者優於大學專科與高中職者。8. 在閱讀知識和閱讀行為層面,女生顯著高於男生;對閱讀的評價沒有顯著差異。9. 閱讀態度的差異情形,市區的平均數皆顯著高於郊區。10. 學生對閱讀態度上,呈現與父母同住和父母親教育程度是研究所者為優。 最後,根據本研究之結論提出建議,就教育行政機關、學校、家長、學生及後續研究等方面提出建議。
    The study is mainly intended to examine the reading behavior, home reading environment and reading attitude of Tainan’s primary six graders. The study also analyzes the discrepancies of four background variables, namely, sex, urban or rural location, family condition, and parental educational background, to understand the discrepancies in home reading environment and home reading attitude of Tainan’s primary six graders with different background variables.After reviewing relevant literature and compiling a questionnaire, the study takes 526 primary six graders from 20 primary schools in Tainan city as research subjects. Questionnaires are given to subjects with 505 valid questionnaires received. Then based on SPSS software, percentage frequency distribution, t-test, and one-factor analysis of variance, etc. are used as statistical methods to analyze the results of questionnaires. The findings of the study are as follows:1.The students’ extracurricular reading materials are bought by their parents for reading at home, and the students also like going to a library and reading picture books.2.The students’ family reading environment is above average, with about the same mean values of subscales in various aspects.3.The reading attitude average scores are low, the parents’ reading habits are fine and they expect much of their children (the students).4.The primary school students vary in their family reading environment, with the girls’ family reading environment being significantly better than the boys’.5.In terms of the primary school students’ family reading environment, the students from populated urban areas are better off than those from rural area or sparsely populated seaside area.6.The primary school students living with both of their parents score significantly higher in their family reading environment than those students living with only one of their parents.7.The primary school students whose parents are from graduation institute scores better than those students whose parents are from college or vocational high school.8.In terms of reading knowledge and reading behavior, the primary school girls are significantly better than the boys, while there is no significant discrepancy in their comments on reading.9.In terms of different reading attitudes, the mean value of populated area is higher than the sparsely populated area.10.In terms of the student’s reading attitudes, the optimal appears to be the students living with their parents who have an graduation institute educational background.Finally, based on findings of the study, suggestions are made regarding educational administrative organizations, schools, parents, students, and future researches and studies, etc.
