Themes from early auspicious animals, myths, folk stories to artistic creation integrated into contemporary living spaces are included. The early Koji pottery was made by craftsmen with a great deal of effort for gods to appreciate. From the south to the north, each famous temple has kept these precious cultural assets. Yeh Wang Koji pottery collected by Tzu Chi temple in hsueh chia is the most representative among them, and there are six works that have been recognized as national treasures by the Ministry of Culture. As times change, temple construction or decorations tend to be managed by foundations. The tradition of cordially inviting masters to be involved has gradually turned into bidding or price comparison, which resulted in the replacement of this costly traditional craft by compression molding and mass production for temple decoration.
