描述: 在文學領域裡，「道路」是時空意識的縮影，它藉由客觀的存在，進行「精神指向」的主觀舖陳或推衍。「道路」意象看似尋常，實際上，卻是文本探索中的重要符碼。早期的童話，絕大部分是為了滿足人們遙不可及的願望，在那個尚無文字記錄、作者不可考的久遠年代，這些童話因而轉化成一個個口耳相傳的民間故事。歷經人事時地物的變遷，童話的傳承起了波折，漸漸地，以民間童話為基礎，經個人蒐羅、彙整或創作的「文學童話」出現了。這種兼具意識形態與文化背景的轉折，毋寧更接近研究者的主題方向。爰以文學童話為基底，一面分析文本中「道路」意象之形塑，一面透過這些「道路」意象，探究作品中的情節與主題。將童話的空間架構聚焦於「道路」，看道路對情節的「必然導向」，也看道路「如何導向」故事的尾聲，進而引發和鳴共振。本論文以「文學童話」為研究類別，以「道路意象」為探討核心，以《綠野仙蹤》和〈去聖庫魯次的遙遠之路〉為範例文本。文分五章，第一章將研究動機、目的、範圍、方法及步驟作一簡要說明；再針對「文學童話」、「意象」及實體、抽象「道路」詳加釋義；接著，就各子題與兩範例文本作相關文獻探討。第二章則統整文本中的「路」，以何種方式來結構作品，並就「情節推展」、「象徵意涵」與「主題闡述」等三方面來探究「道路意象」於文學童話中的運用及作用。第三章，以三個單元分析《綠野仙蹤》的道路書寫：第一節針對作者、故事內容和成書時代背景作介紹；第二節從道路意象看情節推展；第三節探討道路意象下的象徵意涵與主題闡述。第四章，談〈去聖庫魯次的遙遠之路〉，以相同流程來分析文本的道路書寫。
In the terrain of literature, “a road” is an epitome of the awareness of space and time. It has so called “spiritual guidance” of subjectively elaboration or extension by its objective existence. The imagery of “a road” seems ordinary; in fact, it is an essential code of textual analysis. Fairy tales in early days are mostly to fulfill people’s unrealistic wishes. In that era, there were no word documentations and authors were untraceable, either. These fairy tales became folk tales distributed by word of mouth. Owing to the changes of time and place, the legacy of fairy tales shows diversity. One of them has gradually become “literary fairy tales”, which use folk tales as foundation, and are researched, archived or created by different individuals. This transformation equips both ideology and cultural background, and is actually closer to researchers’ objectives. I would like to use literary fairy tales as the base, and analyze the formation of the imagery of “roads” in a text. Meanwhile, I would like to use these imageries of “roads” to explore the plots and themes in different works. The space structure of a fairy tale is going to focus on “roads”, through it, we are able to observe the “inevitable direction” of a road to the plot, and observe how a road “leads” to the end of a story as well, and resonate with readers. This dissertation explores the genre of “literary fairy tale” and the core of the study is “the imagery of roads”, and uses “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” and “The Long Road to Santa Cruz” as example texts. There are five chapters in the dissertation, Chapter 1 is a brief introduction of research motive, objective, area, method, and steps. In addition, there is a thorough explanation of the definition of “literary fairy tale”, “imagery” and the entity and abstract of “roads”.
