土地公信仰為台灣最普遍的民間信仰之一，桃園境內的土地公廟又以密集度高而聞名，「土地公」為桃園城市重要的文化標誌。本文在官方普查的基礎上，開展桃園區「市中心區」土地公廟的研究，考察區域內土地公廟的數量、分布狀況、以及建築形制，發現桃園區登記在案的土地公廟數量與實際數量有明顯落差；再者，針對土地公廟的楹聯進行分析，歸納出信仰活動中的祈求賜福、神威庇佑、風調雨順、財源廣進等四項祈願觀。此外，通過實際參與「2023年土地公國際民俗藝術節」的活動內容，發現桃園土地公信仰重視神聖儀式以及展現地方意象與宗教文化融合的特色。最後，為了觀察「節慶」的永續性，本文藉由與土地公信徒的訪談，考察信徒對於桃園土地公文化的認知與接觸經驗，發現多數受訪者仍較重視宗教層面而非文化層面。.
The belief in the Earth God (Tudigong) is one of the most common folk beliefs in Taiwan. There is a high density of Tudigong temples in Taoyuan; therefore, Tudigong becomes an important cultural symbol of Taoyuan City. Based on the official census, this article aims to research on the Tudigong temples in the "downtown area" of Taoyuan Districtm, to investigates the number, distribution and architectural form of Tudigong temples in this area. It was found that there is a significant gap between the number of registered Tuigong temples in Taoyuan District and the actual number. Furthermore, by analyzing the couplets of the Tudigong Temple, this study summarized four concepts of prayer in religious activities: praying for blessings, divine power and protection, good weather, and abundant wealth. In addition, by actually participating in the activities of the "2023 Tudigong International Folk Art Festival", it’s found that Taoyuan Tudigong belief attaches great importance to sacred rituals and features the integration of local image and religious culture. Finally, in order to observe the sustainability of the "festival", this article interviews the Tudigong believers to examine the believers' cognition and experience of Taoyuan Tudigong culture. It was found that most respondents still pay more attention to the religious aspect rather than the cultural aspect..
