  • 描述: 本研究旨在探討英語歌曲融入教學,是否能提升七年級低成就生的英語學習動機與英語學習成就。本研究採不等組前後測,進行準實驗教學。研究者選擇任教的台南市某公立國中兩個班級,前一學期之英語科學期成績平均在班上後四分之一的同學(7人),兩個班共14位七年級低成就生為研究對象。實驗組七人,實施英語歌曲融入一般講述式教學;控制組七人,實施一般講述式教學,進行為期6週共24節課的實驗教學。以「英語學習動機量表」和「英語課程單元成就測驗」為研究工具,並在實驗教學前後分別進行前、後測,利用單因子共變數分析,檢視兩組學生在學習動機與學習成就上的差異。依研究結果獲得以下結論: (一)英語歌曲融入教學能提升七年級低成就生的英語學習動機。 (二)英語歌曲融入教學未能提升七年級低成就生的英語學習成就。 根據上述結論,提出「英語歌曲融入一般講述式教學,歌詞以簡短、重複性高為原則」、「透過訂定班級常規,師生共同維護課室的氛圍」、「隨時更新歌曲資料庫,並與課程相結合」、「結合其他領域」、「延長實驗教學的時間」等建議。.
    The aim of this study was to examine the influence of infusing English songs into teaching to enhance the learning motivation and learning achievement of underachievers in seventh grade. In this study, a quasi-experimental design was adopted and fourteen underachievers in seventh grade from two normal classes in a junior high school in Tainan City participated. The experimental group, composed of seven underachiever (whose English grade last semester was in lower one fourth), was provided with infusing English songs into teaching, while the control group, seven underacheievers (whose English grade last semester was in lower one fourth) , continually received traditional teaching instruction. This study was carried out for six weeks, twenty-four classes. The effects of infusing English songs into teaching were evaluated through the pretest and posttest of English Learning Motivation Scale and English Unit Achievement Test, together with the analysis of ANCOVA. The findings of this study were as follows: 1. Infusing English songs into teaching can enhance the English learning motivation of underachievers in seventh grade. 2. Infusing English songs into teaching can’t enhance the English learning achievement of underachievers in seventh grade. Suggestions: (1) Infuse English Songs into Teaching, lyrics should be short and repetitive. (2) Rules should be made by the teacher and students to maintain the atmosphere. (3) The English song data should be updated at any time and combined with English lessons. (4) Combine with other curriculums. (5) Lengthen experimental teaching time..
