本研究旨在探討及瞭解國中生地理科學習動機與學習策略之現況及學生在不同背景變項中,其學習動機與學習策略的差異情形。本研究採用問卷調查法,研究者依據相關文獻的探討作為本研究問卷之理論基礎,編製「地理科學習動機量表」與「地理科學習策略量表」做為進行問卷調查的工具,調查對象為台南市國民中學學生,正式問卷有效樣本數共539份。 藉由問卷調查所得資料,以描述統計、獨立樣本t考驗、單因子變異數分析、Pearson積差相關等進行資料處理,研究結果如下: 一、台南市國中生地理科學習動機為中等程度。 二、台南市國中生地理科學習策略的運用為中等程度。 三、學習動機之「價值動機層面」上顯示女學生顯著高於男學生。 四、不同年級之國中生在地理科學習動機上有顯著差異。 五、不同性別之國中生在地理科學習策略的運用上無顯著差異。 六、不同年級之國中生在地理科學習策略的運用上有顯著差異。 七、國中生之主要照顧者的教育程度不同,其在地理科學習動機上無顯著差異。 八、國中生之主要照顧者的教育程度不同,其在地理科學習策略的運用上無顯著差異。 九、不同學習成就之國中生在地理科學習策略的運用上有顯著差異。 基於上述研究結果,研究者提出建議,以供學術、教育工作者及未來研究之參考。 關鍵詞:學習動機、學習策略.
In this study, the main purpose was to investigate the status of learning motivation and learning strategies in geography for junior high school students. The study also examined the differences of learning motivation and learning strategies in geography for students with different background variables. Questionnaires were developed and administered to a valid sample of 539 students in Tainan City.The quantitative data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, independent sample t test, one factor analysis of variance, and correlation analysis. The results of the study were summarized as follows: 1. The level of learning motivation in geography for junior high school students in Tainan City was moderate. 2. The level of the application of geography learning strategies for junior high school students in Tainan City was moderate. 3. Female students had higher scores of learning motivation in geography, compared to male students. 4. Students in different grades had a significant difference in learning motivation in geography. Students in higher grades tended to had higher degrees of learning motivation in geography. 5. “Gender” did not have a significant impact on “the application of learning strategies in geography” for junior high school students in Tainan. 6. “Grade” had a significant impact on “the application of learning strategies in geography” for junior high school students in Tainan. 7. “The education level of the primary caregiver” did not have a significant impact on learning motivation in geography for junior high school students in Tainan. 8. “The education level of the primary caregiver” did not have a significant impact on “the application of learning strategies in geography” for junior high school students in Tainan. 9. “A student’s achievement level” had a significant impact on “the application of learning strategies in geography” for junior high school students in Tai
