本研究旨在探究家庭場域與學童閱讀行為之關聯性,藉由文化再製理論中的場域、習性、資本等概念,分析在不同社會階級家庭中學童的閱讀行為,以瞭解不同的家庭場域如何形塑學童的閱讀行為。經由閱讀文獻後,形成以下研究目的: 一、探究不同社會階級家長建構的閱讀場域特性。 二、瞭解不同社會階級家長對子女閱讀的認知與態度。 三、瞭解不同社會階級之子女展現的閱讀態度與行為模式。 本研究採半結構式訪談,針對澎湖縣某國小六年級學童與家長進行二十六次訪談,發現研究結果顯示出: 一、不同社會階級家長建構的閱讀場域影響學童閱讀行為 二、不同社會階級家長對子女閱讀的認知與態度影響學童閱讀行為 三、不同社會階級之子女展現的閱讀態度與行為模式影響其閱讀行為.
This study was designed to explore the relationship between family social space and students’ reading behaviors. Based on the concepts of field, habitus, and capital that are conveyed in the Cultural Reproduction Theory, this study aims to analyze primary school students’ reading behaviors of those who are from different social classes so that to find out how different family social spaces may build a student’s reading behavior. By reviewing relevant literature, the study purpose comes as follows: 1. To investigate the distinguishing features of the reading environments that are built by parents from different social classes. 2. To explore the cognitions and attitudes of parents from different social classes toward their children’s reading behaviors. 3. To examine how children from different social classes reveal their particular reading attitudes and reading patterns. Semi-structured interviews are used in this paper. Pursuing the purposes above, parents of sixth grade students of a primary school in Penghu have been interviewed twenty-six times. Reflection on the study purpose will make clear that 1. Reading environments that are built by parents from different social classes affect school children’s reading behaviors. 2. The cognitions and attitudes of parents from different social classes toward their children’s reading behaviors affect school children’s reading behaviors. 3. The reading patterns and attitudes of children from different social classes affect their reading behaviors.
