本研究運用行動研究法,旨在探討主題式教學法對於提升國小二年級學童英語聽力與口說能力之情況。本研究欲瞭解接受主題式教學之國小二年級學生英語聽力及口說之學習表現情況;以及教師運用主題式教學法對於國小二年級學生英語聽力與口說教學的歷程與困境,反思與專業成長。本研究以台南市某國小16位學生為研究對象,研究期程為10週,每週兩節課,每節四十分鐘,共計二十節課。研究者透過自行設計的聽力及口說的測驗進行量化資料蒐集,搭配課堂觀察、學生實作學習單、學生訪談表、同儕教師觀課紀錄表、課堂錄影和教師教學省思等質性資料整理,做三角校正分析,以回應本研究之研究問題。 在研究資料整理、歸納、分析後,研究者發現以下結論 一、瞭解主題式教學法在國小二年級學童英語聽力與口說的教學歷程與困境。 二、主題式教學對於二年級學童英語口說能力的學習表現有所助益。 三、主題式教學對於二年級學童英語聽力能力的學習表現有所助益。 四、主題式教學能增進教師跨領域專業成長,與同儕教師溝通互動能力之外,也能促發教師進行反思,改善教學。.
This study uses an action research method to explore how thematic teaching methods can improve the English listening and speaking abilities of second-year elementary school students. The purpose of this study is to understand the English listening and speaking performance of second-grade elementary school students, the process and difficulties of English listening and speaking teaching of second-year elementary school students, as well as the teacher’s professional growth by using thematic teaching methods. In this study there are 16 subjects from an elementary school in Tainan City. The study period is 10 weeks, with two classes per week, each forty minutes, a total of 20 classes. The researcher collects quantitative data through self-designed listening and speaking pre- and post-tests and collects qualitative data by classroom observation, students’ worksheets, student interview, peer teacher observation record, classroom videos and teacher teaching reflection. Then the researcher does triangulation analysis to respond to the research questions of this study. After sorting, summarizing and analyzing the research data, the researchers found the following conclusions: 1. Know the teaching process and difficulties by using thematic teaching methods to improve second-grade elementary school students’ English listening and speaking performance. 2. Thematic teaching methods is helpful to the learning performance of the second-grade students' English speaking ability. 3. Thematic teaching methods is helpful to the learning performance of the second-grade students' English listening ability. 4. Thematic teaching methods can improve the ability of English teachers in interdisciplinary teaching, communication and interaction skills. In addition, it can also encourage teachers to reflect and improve teaching..
