  • 描述: 本研究旨在探討英語閱讀理解策略教學對國小學童英語閱讀理解能力與英語學習動機之影響,了解學生在接受此教學後的學習改變情形。本研究採前實驗研究法單組前後測設計,以高雄市某國小25位五年級學生為研究對象,進行為期十週,每週40分鐘,共計十次的實驗教學。在實驗教學前進行英語閱讀理解測驗與英語學習動機問卷之前測;待實驗教學結束後,在以同樣的英語閱讀理解測驗與英語學習動機問卷實施後測。此外,為了解學生在過程中的學習歷程,在實驗教學前後對學生進行訪談,同時也請學生填寫英語閱讀理解策略教學回饋單,藉以了解學生的意見與想法。研究結果顯示語閱讀理解策略教學有助於提升學生之英語閱讀理解能力,且學生對此實驗教學抱持正向的評價,另外,選用適合學生英語程度之教材讀本,能有效提升學生的英語學習動機,肯定英語閱讀理解策略教學對學生影響。最後根據此研究的結果提出相關教學與研究建議,供教學者與未來研究人員之參考。
    The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of the effects of English reading comprehension strategies teaching on elementary school students’ English reading comprehension ability and English learning motivation and to understand the changes in students' learning after receiving this teaching. In this research was conducted with 25 fifth graders as a participants, studying at a public elementary school in Kaohsiung. This study was based on pre-and-post-test design in which the participants received ten-week English reading comprehension strategies teaching. The students conducted “ English Reading Comprehension Test” and “English Learning Motivation Questionnaire” before and after the study. In order to understand the learning process of the students, the before-and after interview and English Reading Comprehension Strategies Teaching Feedback Questionnaire were given to understand their opinions. The main findings of the study indicated that teaching of English reading comprehension strategies improved students' English reading comprehension ability, and students held the positive attitude toward the program. In addition, the suitable materials increased students' English learning motivation. Finally, some suggestions based on the results of the study, were provided for those who are interested in English reading comprehension.
