  • 描述: 本研究分析學術英文篇章結構綱要並結合有效閱讀理解策略,旨在建構一個幫助技術型高中學生英文閱讀理解的學習模式,並探討此學習模式對提升技術型高中學生英文閱讀理解表現的成效。本研究採取準實驗研究法,以臺南市某國立技術型高中日間部三年級兩個班級,共七十三名學生為研究對象,分派一班為實驗組、另一班為控制組。研究時間為期十九週共七十六節課。研究期間,實驗組學生接受「英文閱讀理解策略學習模式」的實驗教學;控制組接受傳統的英文閱讀教學。以研究對象二下的期末考成績為前測,三上校外聯合出題之全國第二次聯合模擬考試成績與三上期末考成績作為後測。以單因子共變數分析進行資料處理。實驗組學生另以「英文閱讀理解策略學習模式回饋單」蒐集學生對學習模式的回饋資料。本研究的發現如下: 一、 英文篇章結構的組織概念可以建構成閱讀理解策略學習模式。 二、 閱讀理解策略學習模式可轉化成可操作的閱讀理解策略。 三、 閱讀理解策略學習模式能顯著提升學生的英文閱讀理解表現。 四、 從「英文閱讀理解策略學習模式回饋單」發現,學生對閱讀理解策略學習模式 的英文閱讀教學設計抱持正向態度且給予肯定評價。 根據上述研究結果,研究者提出未來研究、教學與課程規畫的建議,以提供相關人士參考。.
    The purpose of this study was to analyze how Academic English Essay is organized, to extract the essential components of English essay structure, and to construct a learning model on English reading comprehension strategies. With the combination of the components extracted from English essay writing and the selection of evidence-based reading comprehension strategies as tools, the researcher managed to construct the learning model on English reading comprehension strategies for enhancing English reading comprehension performance among vocational high school students in Taiwan, A 19-week experimental teaching program (76 hours in total) was conducted to examine the effectiveness of students’ English reading comprehension performance by adopting the learning model on English reading comprehension strategies in class. Seventy-three twelfth graders majoring in Mechanical Engineering in a vocational high school in Tainan City participated in this study. A quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control design was used. The experimental group adopted the teaching design based on the learning model on English reading comprehension strategies in the reading program, while the control group received traditional teaching design only. The effects of the teaching design were evaluated through the pretest and posttest for both the experimental and control group. A post-test Self-reflection Questionnaire concerning the experimental teaching design was only taken by the students in the experimental group. One-way analysis of covariance (one-way ANCOVA) was used to analyze the data from this study. After the analysis of the collected data, the major findings were summarized as follows: 1.
