  • 描述: This qualitative study explored the digital transformation leadership strategies that healthcare leaders need to adopt to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 3 in the United Nations' agenda by 2030. The study focused on two novel topics in healthcare, digital transformation, and sustainable development to make a connection between these topics and create value in the body of knowledge. The research design was an exploratory qualitative approach that employed semi-structured open-ended questions asked of ten healthcare leaders who had experience in the digital transformation. The study revealed that for digital transformation leadership, healthcare organizations need to empower employees, engage them, develop culture, and cultivate transformation agents. The study findings identified that for achieving these components toward sustainable development, six factors contribute: knowledge improvement, innovation development, motivation increment, global strategy and local strategy alignment, leadership support, and partnership development. Healthcare leaders can facilitate the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 3 in the United Nations' agenda by 2030 by creating strategies to develop knowledge and awareness of employees, create innovation in management practice, increase motivation among the employees to achieve global goals, and align their organizations' strategies with global strategies, particularly, Sustainable Development Goals. The vital role of leadership to support this movement has a remarkable effect. Lastly, perceiving the critical role of partnership and collaboration to achieve goals are the two most significant factors of creating future-based organizations through digital transformation leadership.
