描述: 本研究採用自我敘說方式進行，敘說的內容是自我生命的故事。這些故事從研究者的自我經驗出發，透過口語、文字、日誌、新聞報導等方式，呈現出有意義的敘事。目的是希望透過運動選手自我敘說自己的成長及訓練過程，讓一般大眾及身心障礙朋友，了解一位聽障運動選手，如何去克服身體的缺陷，並用自身的經驗去呈現另一種運動經驗及生命的價值。本研究傳達接觸網球運動之後，因為聽力受損，無法在球場上接收完整聲音訊息，如何堅持努力的克服過程。聽損會造成學習上的困難，但透過堅持和努力，每個人都可能成就自己。研究者最後成為國際聽障網球選手，並多次入選國家代表隊，參加諸多國際賽事，例如，2013年遠赴保加利亞，參加人生第一次的聽障運動最高層級的聽障奧運賽事，因經驗不足，最終落敗，透過堅持和努力，在2017年勇奪土耳其薩姆松聽障奧運女子單打和雙打兩面金牌的經驗，提供未來教練及選手在訓練上的參考。
This research was conducted in a self-narrative manner. The content of this account was based on personal life events. These stories originated from the researcher’s life experience and present meaningful narratives through oral language, text, journals, and news reports. The main purpose was to allow the general public and those with disabilities to understand how a deaf athlete overcame hardships through training and experienced the sport and life in a unique way. This study narrated how a tennis player was unable to receive thorough auditory information on the court due to hearing loss, but still persisted in overcoming the learning difficulties caused by hearing loss. Ultimately, the researcher became an international tennis athlete, and was selected into the national team to represent their country in several international competitions. In 2013, she traveled to Bulgaria to participate in the Deaflympics, the highest level of competition for hearing impaired athletes. In 2017, she won two gold medals in the women's singles and doubles games for the hearing impaired in Samsun, Turkey.
