  • 描述: 本研究旨在評估英文素養導向教學運用於國中英語課堂後,對學生英語閱讀理解與英語閱讀動機之影響歷程,並探討英文素養導向教學實施所遇之問題與因應策略。本研究採行動研究方式,以研究者任教國中班級之41位八年級學生為研究對象,設計英文素養導向教學行動方案於課堂中實施,行動歷程包含兩個教學階段,為期12週,研究過程透過質性與量化資料之蒐集,分析歸納本研究結論如下: 1.英文素養導向教學方案對國中學生英語閱讀理解有顯著提升。 2.英文素養導向教學方案對國中學生英語閱讀動機提升程度不明顯。 3.英文素養導向教學方案實施宜考量分組規模並融入差異化教學。 4.議題融入單元主題延伸活動能增進閱讀素養。 5.英文素養導向教學可兼顧語言基本訓練並增進學生之英語閱讀自我效能。
    This research has been targeted at evaluating the change of students' English reading comprehension and English reading motivation after the implementation of literacy-oriented teaching in the English classes of junior high school. Meanwhile, the problems encountered and the corresponding strategies adopted subsequently have been detailed and further discussed. To examine the process of the research, the method of action research was applied. The English literacy-oriented teaching action program, which included two teaching stages and lasted for 12 weeks, was designed and implemented on 41 eighth-grade junior high school students as the research object. The qualitative and quantitative data of the research has been collected for the overall analysis. The conclusions of the research are as follows: 1.The English literacy-oriented teaching program has significantly improved the English reading comprehension of junior high school students. 2.The English literacy-oriented teaching program does not significantly improve the English reading motivation of junior high school students. 3. The group size and the involvement of differentiated teaching should be taken into consideration for the implementation of the English literacy-oriented teaching program. 4. Issues integrated into the extensive activity of each unit enhance the formation of reading literacy. 5. English literacy-oriented teaching takes in basic language training and boosts students' self-efficacy in English reading.
