描述: 喬望尼．玻特西尼(Giovanni Bottesini,1821-1889)為十九世紀義大利低音提琴演奏家、指揮家及作曲家。因應當時義大利歌劇盛行與影響，他創作出許多與歌劇題材有關的低音提琴作品，作品如歌劇般抒情且華麗，替低音提琴作品開創了多元性，除了留下大量的獨奏與重奏作品外，他撰寫的《低音提琴教本》也對低音提琴的演奏技巧有極大的貢獻。此研究以玻特西尼《低音提琴教本》與《拉梅默的露琪亞幻想曲》為主題，從作曲家生平、作品、貢獻…等資料著手，進而論述教本內容、作品背景及樂曲架構分析，並參考各相關資料與個人演奏詮釋，來探討低音提琴演奏技巧與運用，希望透過各方面的研究，能更深入了解玻特西尼音樂創作手法及內涵。
Giovanni Bottesini (1821-1889) was an Italian double bass player, conductor, and composer in the 19th century. Due to the popularity and influence of Italian opera at that time, he created many works for double bass related to opera themes. The works are as lyrical and gorgeous as opera, creating diversity for double bass works. In addition to leaving a large number of solo and ensemble works, he also wrote a Complete Method for Double Bass which made a great contribution to the performing techniques of the double bass. This research focuses on Bottesini's Complete Method for the Double Bass and Fantasia Lucia di Lammermoor, starting from the composer's life, works, contributions, to the content of the text, the background of the works and the structure of the music with a thorough study and various relevant materials and personal performance interpretations. Discussions on double bass performing techniques of Complete Method for the Double Bass and some applications of Fantasia Lucia di Lammermoor by Bottesini will also be provided. It is my hope that through various aspects of study and research, it comes to a deeper understanding of the performing techniques of double bass and inspirations of Bottesini's music.
