描述: 本論文旨在探討《皇后之死》一書，本書為柏楊出獄後在《台灣時報》撰寫「湖濱讀史扎記」專欄合輯，為仿評書藝術形式書寫宮廷后妃間爭寵奪愛的種種現象。透過文本分析，統計死亡方式，歸納出引起大量后妃死於非命的種類及其緣由，與死後哀榮的后妃類型。期待藉由探究柏楊對宮廷女性大量死亡的書寫，提供對兩漢時代宮廷女性研究之參考。《皇后之死》為柏楊承襲史漢論贊精神，於敘史之外，寄寓褒貶的史著，實為其思想、史觀的精華所在。筆者試圖將作品與作家連繫，藉由分析歸納柏楊以女性主義書寫兩漢時代宮廷后妃死於非命之因，從其敘述中反思封建制度、男權至上體制下，女性所遭受的不平等處境，並歸納隱藏於後的柏楊平民史觀與所揭露的醬缸文化，此亦為柏楊雜文批判精神的一貫極致表現。綜上所述，再以評書藝術角度分析歸納《皇后之死》於文學、歷史、教育三個向度的價值。
The research probes into the book “The Death of The Queens”, which was written by Bo Yang in “Taiwan Times” after being discharged from prison. This is the compilation of the column “Notes of Lakeside Reading” and imitates art of story review to write about the phenomena of the rivalry among queens and concubines in the palace. Through its analysis and statistics of manner of death, it draws a conclusion of the types and causes of many queens’ and concubines’ death and the types of commemoration after their death. It offers the reference to the study of females in Han Dynasty through studying Bo Yang’s writing about plenty of females’ death in the palace. Bo Yang’s “The Death of The Queens” inherits the spirit of the Shi Ji and Han Shu; besides narrating history, it expresses praise and criticism, which is the essence of thoughts and history observation. The research attempts to connect the work and its writer and analyzes what Bo Yang writes about the death of queens and concubines in Han Dynasty according to feminism to consider the unfair situations of females in feudalism and male supremacy. It also concludes Bo Yang’s concealed civilian history observation and Jiang-Gang Culture, which is the consistent extreme performance of Bo Yang’s essays’ criticism. “The Death of The Queens” is then analyzed and concluded through the perspective of story review to see its value in literature, history, and education.
