  • 描述: 本研究旨在探討巧固球運動訓練對學童骨質密度的影響,及巧固球運動訓練對不同性別學童骨質密度上的差異。研究的對象為高雄縣某國小五年級60位學童,以立意取樣分為巧固球組男生、巧固球組女生、控制組男生及控制組女生共四組,每組人數為15人。巧固球組接受每週五次,每次一小時,持續16週的巧固球運動訓練;控制組除學校體育課程之外無接受任何運動訓練。所有受試者在訓練前後,均接受法國PEGASUS定量式超音波骨質密度測量儀測量跟骨骨質BUA超音波衰減值,所得資料以描述性統計、t檢定和單因子共變數分析進行統計分析,比較受試者前、後測骨質BUA超音波衰減值之差異情形。結果:巧固球組的跟骨骨質BUA超音波衰減值,顯著高於控制組(63.42 dB/MHz vs 60.65 dB/MHz)(p<.05)。巧固球組男女學童的跟骨骨質BUA超音波衰減值均有提升,而且男女學童之間並無顯著差異。結論:接受16週巧固球運動訓練,對國小五年級學童的跟骨骨質密度有提升的作用,且不因性別不同而有所差異。因此,為了要增加學童骨質密度,以期達到更好的「顛峰骨質量」(peak bone mass),預防將來骨質疏鬆症的發生,參與巧固球運動也是很好的選擇。
    The purposes of this study are to perceive the effect of Tchouk Ball training on Bone Mineral Density (BMD) in grade 5 children and to record the differences of BMD between girls and boys. Using purposive sampling, both the training and control groups contained 15 boys and 15 girls in grade 5 from an elementary school in Kaohsiung County. The training groups underwent sixteen-week Tchouk Ball training, 5 times per week for 1 hour each time while the control groups did not participate in any additional exercise other than the school-required PE classes. Utilizing Quantitative Ultrasound (PEGASUS France), the calcaneal bone Broadband Ultrasound Attenuation (BUA) before and after training was evaluated and then was analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, and one-way ANCOVA. Results: the calcaneal bone BUA of the training groups were obviously higher than the control groups (63.42 dB/MHz vs. 60.65 dB/MHz). The BUA values in training groups increased, and there was no significant difference between boys and girls in these groups.Conclusion: sixteen-week Tchouk Ball training will increase childrens’ calcaneal BMD and the effect was obvious in boys as well as girls in grade 5. Thus, taking part in Tchouk Ball training is a good method to increase one’s BMD and to reach a higher peak bone mass in order to prevent Osteoporosis.
