  • 描述: 本研究旨在探討兒童英語故事教學對國小四年級學童英語學習態度與句型成就學習之影響。研究採不等組前後測的準實驗設計,以高雄縣某一國小兩班四年級學童為研究樣本,兩組人數皆為27人。 本研究之實驗教學為期八週。實驗前後皆採用研究者自編之「英語學習態度量表」與「句型成就測驗」進行測驗。並以相依樣本t檢定與單因子共變數分析,以了解實驗前後,組內與組間實驗前後差異。並另輔以學生晤談,與開放式問卷,進行深入探討與分析,更加了解學童對實驗教學的想法。 依據資料的分析與結果的探討,研究者歸納出以下幾點:一、兒童英語故事教學對實驗組的英語學習態度並無顯著改善。二、實驗組學童對兒童英語故事教學抱持正面肯定的態度。三、兒童英語故事教學對實驗組之句型聽力部分並無顯著改善。四、兒童英語故事教學對實驗組之句型閱讀能力有顯著提升。 最後,研究者根據本研究結論,對國小實施兒童英語故事教學及未來研究提出具體的建議。
    The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of English storytelling Instruction on English Learning Attitude and Sentence Pattern Development in primary school. The study adopts the method of quasi-experimental design. The subjects in this study included two classes of fourth graders. The children were divided into two groups with each group composed of 27 students. One group was experimental and the other was the control group. During the eight-week English storytelling program, the subjects took a pre-test of “English Learning Attitude Scale” and a post-test of “Pattern learning test”. Data was analyzed with one-way ANCOVA and paired sample t test to clarified the effects of English storytelling instruction between the experimental and control group, as well as within the two groups. The researcher was also able to develop conclusions from Questionnaire results and student interviews.Based on the data analysis, the findings of the study can be summarized as follows:1. There is no significant improvement in English learning attitude within the experimental group.2. The students from the experimental group had developed positive attitudes through English storytelling instruction.3. There is no significant improvement in listening sentence patterns toward experimental group.4. There is significant improvement in reading sentence patterns toward experimental group.Based on the findings, the researcher proposed some suggestions for instruction and research in English storytelling instruction.
