描述: 《台灣大風雲》所描寫的時代，是從一九四四年日治末期到二千年政黨輪替，台灣歷經了日本大和民族的殖民統治與國民黨的專制政權統治，這段期間可以說是台灣歷史上變化最劇烈、動盪不安的年代。邱家洪剛好正處於這個最困苦的年代中，他看盡台灣人備受折磨，嘗盡心酸，但是台灣人始終不輕易被擊倒，努力在困境中求生、求發展。本論文在研究上，將先進行外緣研究再切入內圍討論，試著先從了解作者著手，然後再進行其作品研究。筆者主要聚焦於《台灣大風雲》這部大河小說，並以「文本分析法」逐一閱讀，試著從作者其他著作，深入了解邱家洪的創作理念與手法，再與《台灣大風雲》做連結。筆者將親自探訪邱家洪，期盼從與他的對話中，讓整部小說的空間輪廓更加清晰，最後以「歸納法」，進而使本論文能更加完整。論文架構上，第一章為「緒論」，共分成研究動機與目的、前人研究成果、研究範圍、研究方法與架構。第二章「邱家洪及其創作」，則是進行外緣研究，先從作者的生長背景探討起，再探討其餘作品。第三章《台灣大風雲》之台灣殖民記憶與民主敘述，本章的重點，將從日治末期談起，日本人對台實施那些政策與手段，藉此控制台灣人，並從小說中了解到生活在那時代下的台灣人，如何與日本人對抗。日本戰敗退出台灣，由國民黨接收，在接收初期，國民黨造成「二二八事件」，本章另一個重點將針對二二八事件發生的原因與結果一一探究。接著台灣戒嚴至解嚴後之民主發展，筆者將探究小說中台灣戒嚴至解嚴後曾經發生的重大事件與轉變，而這段期間，也是台灣民主思潮最激盪的時期。筆者也試以 Maurice Halbwachs的理論著作《論集體記憶》與這章內容做連結，找尋台灣人的共同記憶。第四章《台灣大風雲》人物探究，本章將以二元對立的角度針對小說中人物分析探究。第五章《台灣大風雲》台灣常民文化探究，在作品中，邱家洪納入許多台灣的常民文化，包括結婚與殯葬禮俗、四句聯、諺語等，讓整部小說添增許多知識與趣味性，筆者將這些文化，逐一分析探究。第六章結論，綜合以上各章探究，做一整理統合，歸結出邱家洪的主要創作意識為何？並分析《台灣大風雲》所要呈現的核心價值？
