本研究的目的在探究如何設計TPR策略應用於國小英語教學,從教學實施了解其教學成效和學習成效,並針對教學歷程所遭遇的問題,提出有效的解決對策。運用實務慎思取向的行動研究,針對研究的教學歷程進行評鑑、檢討和反省,修正教學設計及教學技巧,以縮短理論和實務之間的差距,使師生在教學相長的過程中,皆獲得智慧的增長。本研究以國小四年級學生為研究對象,資料蒐集方式包括觀察、訪談和文件資料,兼採量化和質性的資料分析。依據研究結果,本研究獲致下列研究結論:一、TPR策略應用於國小中年級的英語教學,頗具實用性和可行性二、應用TPR策略的英語教學活動有助於學生的英語溝通能力和提升 學生的英 語學習態度三、以有效的作法解決師生在教學活動所遭遇的問題,使教學歷程 更具流暢性四、將英語教學理論落實於教學現場,促進教師的專業成長與收穫
The purpose of this study is to explore how to use TPR in the English Instruction of Elementary Schools. This study focuses on understanding effect of teaching and learning through the teaching process and proposing the effective solution of the problem. This study adopted “practitioner-action-research”, developed TPR teaching plan and activity and by observation, evaluation and self-examination in the teaching process, modified TPR teaching plan in order to bridge theory and practice. Interaction of “Teaching is learning.” made teachers and students enhance wisdom. The target students of my research are all in grade 4. The data were collected from observation, interview and documents and were analyzed by means of quantitative and qualitative ways. The results of the study are as follows:1. To apply TPR Strategy has practicability and feasibility in the English Instruction of Elementary Schools.2. To apply TPR Strategy helps students communicate with others in English and promotes their English learning attitude.3. To encounter difficulties which happened in the teaching process is solved by effective methods. Teaching process is more fluent. 4. To apply English teaching theory to teaching field promotes teachers’ professional growth and experience.
