  • 描述: 圖畫書在幼兒的成長階段中,是最好的啟蒙教材,亦是幼兒建構自我的重要素材。本研究以關涉勇氣主題的圖畫書為研究文本,主要在探討圖畫書所詮釋的勇氣主題中,從兒童心理發展觀點的外圍部分及圖畫書在文字、圖畫的內涵部分,加以分析研究。研究的目的在於整理圖畫書中有關勇氣的主題圖畫書,透過文本的閱讀,探討圖畫書中所呈現的相關勇氣主題的發展理論,進而運用在其生活經驗、情緒本質及人格發展,處理幼兒在發揮勇氣的歷程中,所產生的害怕、恐懼、不安等困擾問題,讓圖畫書的應用,由美的欣賞,加入「勇氣」這個大能力的打造計畫。本研究分兩部分。前半部整理出以「勇氣」為主題的幼兒圖畫書書目,在勇氣的發展理論中,探討人生由小到大的發展需求,並從圖畫書的「外圍」去探討幼兒的種種恐懼或害怕的人、事、物,讓幼兒及大人去省思:發揮「勇氣」須先面臨到的恐懼、害怕、壓力等問題,以及面對時的勇氣態度。後半部,則是運用前半部的研究結果,規劃出由圖畫書的「內涵」發展,如:畫面中的顏色及構圖、情節進行,或人物表情和對話中,論述其勇氣生成之發展歷程,進而深入探索幼兒的心靈世界,能以同理心去感受,爲幼兒打造人生的第一本「勇氣」大能力的「學習護照」。研究的結果對教學實務而言,希望有助於教師及家長對幼兒有關「勇氣」概念的詮釋,能有更深入的了解,進而在生活經驗、周遭環境中,尊重幼兒對人、事、物的不安、恐懼的原因,協助幼兒將心中的害怕或不舒服的感覺表達出來,分享並接納幼兒,幫助幼兒突破這個難關,重新找回失去的自信和勇氣。冀望兒童文學工作者、家長及教師們,能以更多的角度欣賞及探討圖畫書時,以幼兒的立場看世界,並能拋磚引玉,能有更多的創作主題出現,激發更多的火花,帶動台灣更多圖畫書的相關研究並豐富孩子的生活經驗。
    Picture books are the best learning materials and important sources for constructing children’s identities in the course of growing up. This study investigates into several selected ‘courage’ title picture books. It is mainly to explore courage theme in these titles, looking from the outer aspects of children’s psychological development and analyzing the inner aspects of narratives and drawings of picture books.The aims of this study are to bring together titles of courage theme picture books and by reading these titles, to investigate the developmental theory of courage that presented in picture books. Furthermore, it can be applied in children’s daily experiences, emotional self and personality development. During the process of dealing with problems of fear, terror and anxiety in developing courage, the application of picture books through the appreciation of aesthetics, it is able to add on the forming of the great ability design of ‘courage’.This study is divided into two sections. The first half organizes picture books based on “courage title” as its theme. Base on the theory of courage development, it is aimed to investigate children’s developmental needs in their life. In addition, via the ‘outer aspect’ of picture books to explore different types of fear and sources of terror such as persons, events, and substances that children encountered, in order for both children and adults to ponder that to develop ‘courage’, one must deal with problems such as fear, terror and pressure, and to have courageous attitude to face fear. Second half of the study which developed from the finding of the first half, categorizes the “connotation” development of picture books. For example, by means of the color and structures of the picture, scenario developments, or expressions and conversations of the characters in the story, this study describes developing process of courage and investigates the spiritual world of children in depth, in order to sympathize with them, and to produce the first ‘courage’ the great capability ‘learning passport’ for children. For teaching practice application, the findings of this study expect to help teachers and parents to comprehend the concept of ‘courage’ in depth from the children’s point of view. In addition, it is wished to recognize the reasons for children’s fear toward other persons, events and substances in their daily experiences and environment. Furthermore, it anticipates assisting children to express their fear and uncomfortable feelings, as to share and acknowledge with children for helping them to break through such difficulty and recover missing self-esteem and courage.It is anticipated that for the children’s literature authors, parents and teachers who can explore and appreciate picture books with more aspects, and viewing the world from the children’s perspectives. In addition, it is also hoped that the findings of this study can stimulate further creative productions with much more ‘sparks’ and attract more related researches to enrich children’s living experiences in Taiwan.
