描述: 雖然沈尹默的書法成就以行書體最具代表，然而楷書成就近人評價頗高，但從文獻等各方面探討，對於沈尹默楷書的書學歷程、各時期藝術面貌、技法分析以及現今對臺灣書壇學習楷書者的影響，這四個部分是較少人深入論述的面向，所以筆者以「沈尹默楷書」作為此次研究的主題，針對以上面向進行資料的收集與研究，希望對沈尹默的楷書能有更進一步的認識。第二章探討沈尹默的家學對於其初學書法的影響，並將書學分為家學啟蒙、力矯陋習、致力褚遂良書體、融通創作四個時期，論述沈尹默各時期所致力於前人碑帖的過程。第三章整理沈尹默楷書傳世書跡，共分臨寫作品、自運大、小楷三類，就作品的構成論述其臨寫碑帖的思想及整體構成的風格，其中小楷作品部分，論述目前所見十件作品中，筆者的疑慮與己見。第四章以《朱銘山先生暨德配袁夫人七十壽序》為例，探究沈尹默楷書的用筆、結字及章法，並論述字體是否符合今人論述美的要求，以及與唐代結字之法相合之處。第五章論述臺灣目前可見沈尹默楷書集字教材中的編印現象，之後分析公辦比賽中，沈尹默楷書風格的學習現象及得獎比例，透過數據來說明沈尹默楷書對臺灣習書者的影響。研究可知，沈尹默臨習碑帖著重於前人法度的實踐而終身不輟，是其楷書成就的關鍵。褚遂良楷書風格較接近沈尹默的喜好，其技法的審美觀，主要是受到父親的影響。沈尹默有六件近時出現的小楷作品，可能是另一種小楷風格或有他人仿寫的可能，尚待有更多資料時再進行更進一步的研究。沈尹默的楷書為臺灣學習楷書風格的主流之一，具有推廣書法的價值。
