  • 描述: This article addresses dance theatre project Maataw, which is based on ethnomusicological research among the Tao/Yami people, one of sixteen recognized indigenous groups of Taiwan. The project transmits ecological problems they are facing and the corresponding political issues to general audiences. The article also anlyses the public impact of this engaged artistic project.
