描述: The collaborative approach used in Luigi Nono's 1985 work, "A Pierre. Dell'azzurro silenzio, inquietum," is examined. Written for Pierre Boulez's 60th birthday, the score presents the contrabass flute and contrabass clarinet on separate staves, with a third line of notation indicating the dynamic cues the sound engineer must use in controlling the two sets of loudspeakers in the front and the back of the performance space.
