  • 描述: The scholars indicated that creativity, problem solving and critical thinking are important key abilities for the 21st century. The main purpose of this study is to explore the impact of using a blended cooperative learning model in the classroom, that is, combining classroom instruction and online cooperative activities, on students' creativity, problem-solving tendencies, and critical thinking. This research is an experiment conducted in a general education course in mass communication at a university in northern Taiwan. The students participating in the experiment were 59 college students from different disciplines. Students' activities include online viewing of science videos before the class, conducting quizzes and group discussions in the class, and online group discussion for completing a report of analyzing a video specified by the teacher after the class.
